This Privacy Notice sets out how Inuko uses and protects any information that you may provide.

Inuko s.r.o., Vajanského 5, Senec, 90301, Slovakia is processing your personal data in the legal position of Controller. This means that we are responsible for deciding how and why we hold and use your personal data.

1.3      About this Privacy Notice

This privacy notice explains how we collect, use, share, and transfer your personal data when you use the services provided by Inuko. We also explain your data privacy rights.

 

Personal data is any information about you by which you can be identified or be identifiable. This can include information such as:

 

·       Everything what you provide when you register for Inuko services (such as your name, your email, your address, details about your dog)

·       information about your device (such as the IP address, which is a numerical code to identify your device that can provide information about the country, region, or city where you are based).

 

 

 

 

 

1.4      What we collect

·       Name and address.

·       Contact information, including email address and phone number.

·       Dog details, including name, breed, age and, if relevant, any previous veterinary history.

·       Any other information which is reasonably required to carry out our service to you.

 

1.5      When we may request this information

·       On your initial registration.

·       When you make an appointment.

·       If you send an enquiry to us.

·       At any other time as reasonably required.

 

1.6      Why we request this information

In order to understand your needs and to enable us to provide a quality service, we need to collect and store personal information from you. We may collect data for the following reasons:

 

·       To provide services to your dog and maintain accurate records.

·       To contact you about your dog, your account or credit status, where required.

·       To process payment for any services provided.

·       To book appointments.

·       To ask you to complete client satisfaction surveys to help us offer the best service we can.

·       To let you know about changes to our services.

·       To occasionally send you a newsletter or inform you of any promotional offers that we feel you may benefit from.

 

 

1.7      How long we keep your information

We store your personal information as long as reasonably required to provide our service to you.

·       We shall hold your information whilst you are our registered client.

·       We shall continue to hold your personal information for a reasonable period even if you are no longer a client in order to comply with legal obligations.

 

1.8      With whom we share your data?

We engage third party companies who assist us in providing our services and products or support us with certain functions of these applications.

Microsoft We use Microsoft O365 for emails and other office work and we host our client database in a Microsoft Azure data center. Microsoft (Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA) stores and processes your personal data on our behalf on servers within the European Union. 1.9      Lawful processing

We will only process your personal data if we have a lawful basis for doing so. Lawful bases for processing include consent, contractual performance and our “legitimate interests” as further described below.

 

Contract Performance

We process Personal Data as a matter of “contractual necessity”. That means that we need to process some data to be able to provide services for you, e.g., when you make an appointment for your dog.

 

Legitimate Interest

When we have a business or commercial reason of our own to use your information, this is called a ‘legitimate interest’. We will tell you what that is, if we are going to rely on it as the reason for using your data. Even then, it must not unfairly go against your interests.

 

Consent

In some cases, we process personal data based on the consent you expressly grant to us. When we process personal data based on your consent, we indicate that to you at the point and time of collection.

 

Other Lawful Grounds

From time to time, we may also need to process personal data to comply with a legal obligation, if it is necessary to protect the vital interests of you or other data subjects, or if it is necessary for a task carried out in the public interest.

 

 

 

1.10   International Data Transfers

We do not transfer data outside the European Economic Area. We maintain a database with our clients’ data on a Microsoft Azure server in a data center in Germany.

 

1.11   From what sources do we obtain your personal data?

Inuko obtains your personal data directly from you.

 

 

 

1.12   Automated decision making and profiling

We do NOT make any automated decisions nor profiling with legal or similar significant effect on you.

 

 

1.13   Personal data from Children

We do not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 16. If you believe that we may have collected Personal Information from someone under the applicable age of consent in your country without proper consent, please contact us and will work to investigate and address the issue.

 

If you are a child under 16 years of age, you are not permitted to use the Service and should not send any information about yourself to us through the Service.

 

1.14   How we protect your information

Your data is stored securely on our behalf in a Microsoft Azure data center in Europe. We endeavor to keep your data current and accurate. Please help us keep your data up to date by contacting us if there are any changes. We have in place strict security procedures for the storage and disclosure of your information to prevent unauthorized access.

 

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to us via our website; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorized access.

 

1.15   What are your rights regarding the personal data we hold about you?

You have several rights regarding the personal data that we hold about you and you can contact us regarding the following rights in relation to your personal data:

 

·       You have the right to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

·       You have the right to correct the personal data we hold about you.

·       Where applicable, you may also have a right to receive a machine-readable copy of your personal data.

·       You also have the right to ask us to delete your personal data or restrict how it is used, consistent with the GDPR. There may be exceptions to the right to erasure for specific legal reasons which, if applicable, we will set out for you in the response to your request.

·       Where applicable, you have the right to object to processing of your personal data for certain purposes.

·       Where you have provided us with consent to use your personal data, you can withdraw this at any time.

Complaints to supervisory authorities

Inuko takes your rights very seriously. However, if you are of the opinion that we have not dealt with your reservations or complaints adequately, you have the right to submit a complaint to the responsible data privacy protection authorities. 1.16   Changes to this Privacy Notice

If we decide to change our privacy notice we will post the changes here. If the changes are significant, we will get your permission or give you the opportunity to opt out of any new uses of your data.
